period 4

I remember the first time I received my own cell phone. It all started when I was in eighth grade. All of my friends and my classmates were walking down the hallway talking on thier phones. And when it was time for us to go home I would see everybody talking on their phone outside. I felt left out and I felt like an outcast. I wanted a phone very badly. I begged my mother and my father to buy me a phone and they kept promising me one but I never got it. In the begininng of my freshman year my mother finally took me to go get a cellphone. I was so happy! She felt that I deserved it because I wanted a graduation gift and I never got it. Plus I get good grades. From there on I had my own cellphone. When someone was on the house phone I didn't have to wait on them to get off
