At Dewey, the school that i work at i help th teachers with the students by, assisting them with theirwork or projects that the teachers assigned to the students, I also help get the rooms back in orderly fashion; after the students have attempted to complete their work projects.

Today I learned about robot and how they have races. I also go to the school Dewey and help out with the students that go to that school and that go to aother school. I help them with there work I help them clean up there class room when its time for them to go to there next class then I walk them to there next class. There next class they go to will be to the library and Catrice is in there with them then. Thats all I do until 3:00. That what I do at Dewey.
what I leran today was how to make are robot do other things like how we can use the sensors to move on a table and not move off of the table. I also learn how other robots being built n how they hold tournments for people to bulid them and if they win they win money and the right to work with the goverment building the robots
What i learn today is we watch a movie about robot and told us things about sensors and how they spent months and almost years making there robot but it help us so we can no how to react with our robot from there mistakes what we do at our job is teach the kids drills on how to play ball and then tell them what they did wrong

Today in robotics class we watched a movie talking about robots. The movie was showing us how the robots move, and how they function. The movie was very interesting, and I enjoyed watching it. Lastly, we had done about like four or five worksheets talking about and disgusting the robots.

I thought today was a somewhat boring day because we didn't really do anything in class but watch an vidoe and do a worksheet that wasn't very exciting to me at all. so i hope that monday becomes a different experience and i know that it will because we start to really program our robots and that should be fun.
At my job site i also help the kids with writing, drawing and Drama even though i don't have an interest in Drama at all but the kids are fun to be around.

I learned basically the same thing I had learned yesterday. I think that this summer job is a little school like, and we're not in school we're at work. To me at work is not writing or doing work sheets. At my other job Randolph, what we do there is what we call work. today was day 2 for building our robots. we started off a little bumpy but in the end got most of it together. our robot is practically finished.during certain parts of the course i continued to think that we lost pieces to the robot but soon found them. today as wayyyyyyyy better than yesterday.

what I learned today was how to make the robot move n turn around. then after that i had learned how to make the robot turn around and then come back to where it had came at the begining. I also learned how to make the robot go exactly as far as I wanted it to go and then come back to the starting point.
Today i had came a little later then usual.Then we had went to the library to go finish building our robots.Then we had went on break i walked to the store with my friend Marriah Carter and my sister Brittney Wright. Then i went back upstairs to finish my robot i'm almost done i might addd. Now i'm writing on blooger describeing what i had done today.

Today was a good day me and Elisha are almost finished with our robot, Nebula. I am sooooooooooooooo happy that were almost finished 'cause at first it was like it was taking us forever to finish that robot. And on top of that I glad to have her as my partner because we act just alike, were both really goofy but we still managed tho get the work done. I really don't like working with others especially in group activities, but Elisha is the one person who I truly enjoy working with.

Today in Robotics Engineering class where we learn about robots and how to build a model. We paired in two's and build miniture robots and they're program to work by sound. First we build them, then get them up and running through the computers. Once we finished our robots we take them to competitions. I have no idea about the competition, because this is my first time in a robotics class.

Today was a very boring day at first but then when we started working on the robots and putting them together, it was getting really fun. I didn't want to stop because I was having to much fun. I truly learned a lot about robots even thought this really isn't my thing; I'm really enjoying the Keep Kids Learning Program. Today at Harper we worked on a robotics project that consisted of teamwork and commitment it was also challenging. It had something to do with a thing like an ipod but smarter. It also consisted of Lego but don't let that fool you it sounds lame but it kept us busy. I'm not saying it was fun but it was alright i guess as long as i didn't go to sleep.

The grade I would like to receive in this class is an A+. Because I do and have done all my work in your class this school year. I finish all the big assignments and projects. This school year I would not change anything in this class. The grade I would give T.J (Mr.Winfrey) is an A, because he is a cool, fun person to talk to and be around and understand student’s needs. There is only one thing you can change this year in that’s done give out work at the last day of school!!!! I like the all of books you gave out to read this year. The assignments you gave out this year were O.K not to hard but at the same it made us think. My favorite part of class was just coming to class. I enjoy ever day of this class I would not change anything about this class.

My experinces in this class were great this year. I would give myself an A for effort. I could have not gotten suspended so much to have had a better year. I would give my teacher an A cause he cool. You could have gave us less work though.
The books i liked were Nigger and Someone To Love Me. My favorite part of class would be just chillin and talking with each other. What i enjoy about class is how cool our teacher is. What i dislike is all the projects that we have to do,and the A side and B side. If you don't have an A u don't get to do everthing the A people get to do. If i could change anything about this class it would be that we need to go on more field trips.

I really don't have any experience in this class. I will give myself an c in this class because i know that sometimes i don't turn in my work but i turn it in when i have a chance. The only thing i say that i could do better is pushing myself to work harder and do more work besides doing all c work. I will my teacher an a because he always be very reasonable with the work. Mr. winfrey is always fair sometimes. Mr. winfrey could've turned down some of the work because it was too much. The only books i liked was their eyes were watching god and beowulf. I didn't like devil in the white city or macbeth. My favorite part of class was when mr. winfrey always trick the whole class. I don't like that we have a sitting chart based on who has an a or who doesn't have an a. I will change the fact that every student will sit anywhere they want even if they don't have an a.
i like mr winfrey class and i think that he don't need to change any thing about class all the thing that we done in this class will help us int he future. mr. winfrey is a good teacher and he want the best for us. i like all things about this class and i think that he should keep teaching like he is teaching now i like the books we read and there is nothing that i would lie to change about things class i use to dinn't like that a side but now i see the point of it to make us push our self to work hard and don't gave up keep up the goood work.
This class is the same from last year. Work,work and more work. Here it is the last day of school and we have to do a bellringer. This should be a day for the final and turning in missing work. The grade I will give myself is a C because I've done most of my work but, not all of the work, which is average.I did good this year it was better than last year. I was a slacker last year. I would give myself a “B” overall, no matter what grade I actually got now. I slacked this year which caused me to get a low passing grade this semester. I could have come to school more but wanted to B-Sh** all the time, then when I did come I wouldn’t finish my work when it was do. I would give you a overall grade of a “C” cause you didn’t have any reasoning or understanding of anything at all like the A side B and under side. The book that I like was "Nigger" because it showed me how white people didn't respect us and how they thought of us. Every book except Nigger because they were boring. I like doing the project about the nusic because it helped me learn a lot of things about different kinds of music. I didn't like the publisher because we had too much work to do but, I got it done. My favorite part was when we had to do the skits. WHat I enjoyed was having an A side and the other side. I wouldn't give a big assignment like the publisher to an A student. I would give myself an A as a student,because I'm the definition of a student. I could've taken every opportunity given to me and used it to complete every assignment given to me. I would give Winfrey an A as a teacher, because he takes the extra step to make sure the students understand the concept of bettering themselves in school.Make the work more fundamental and I guarantee you would have a 100% participation in class.I liked all the books we read in class,the assignments,because they were challenging my train of thought. The grade i give myself in this class is a B. I say a B because i do my work and have it on time most if the time. The things i could have done better this year was. i could have been on my work and come to class prepared. the grade i would mr.Winfrey is a B because he tried his best to teach us. Plus he will teach us until we get the work with no questions. the things he could have done different was think about the work before he hand it out. I like everything except when he says "THIS IS NOT A DEMOCRACY PEOPLE". Other than that it was cool.I don't think i would change anything in this class.I wouldn't change it because he's real cool and he's a fun teacher he kinda lame at times but he's alright.

If I was to summarize my experience in this class I would say it was better than last year. This year has been crazy and fun in his class. I have always maintained my grades as an A average. This has been my fun nest class and there is nothing more I could have done to make it better. If I was to grade you as a teacher I will give you an A. not only have you been cool, but you have also been a great teacher. You allowed us to learn and have fun at the same time, and not that many teachers could do that. The only thing I ask you is to stay yourself as Mr. Winfrey. Throughout this year I was only in this class for a semester and I did not like the book that was presented to us. It was Things Fall Apart. One assignment I did like was the music project. My favorite part of the class was when you will let us loose to do our work. Another thing I enjoyed about the class was that the A students were able to do anything they wanted. I really didn’t have any dislikes in this class. I just hope that in the near future you are the same with your coolness and your great teaching methods.

The system that was formed for our class made everybody try harder and do what they had to do. My American literature class was my favorite class this year. I love Mr. Winfrey, not only because he was a great teacher he was cool. He tried to understand us. He tried to find better ways for us to learn. Ms Green was pretty cool, she reminds me of an older version of my mother or grandmother. Ms. Olsen is a black girl in a white girl body, she was cool also. All my teacher was cool even ms abbas. But sometimes she’s like your little sister or brother.
The kind of grade I think I should get is an A. I should have showed up on time. I would give my teacher an A also. Nothing I think everything you have done this year was a wonderful way of teaching. I liked every book we read this year. All the books to me were good books. The assignments I liked were reading. I was all into the books that were chosen for us to read. I enjoyed getting a good grade. I enjoyed learning something new I enjoyed becoming friends with my teachers. To me everything about this class was good. Well my year has been ok. I learned alot and I feel that I have been bettered by this class. As for me giving myself a grade I would give myself a D because I tried to make a effort and i tried to do better. What I could have done better is come to school and do more work. As for giving you a grade I would give you a B because you tried to help me and you made sure people did your work or got the he** out. You couldn't have done any thing else because i thought you have done everything right as I have seen. The book i liked was a hole in my life. Ididn't dislike any book.I like the freewriting assignment, the assignment i disliked was the ACT Prep. My favorite part of class was the bellringers. I enjoyed how you used to make it fun and I didnt dislike anything. If I could change anything I would change it to where we could freewrite all day.

My entire experience in this class has been extremely wonderful yet challenging. But you know I'm always up for a challenge in this class because whenever we learni somethign new I'm always ready and know it's easy so I'll ask for something that's more of a challenge for me ya know; has to be a little more comlex. I would most difinitely give myself an 'A+' because I feel since I'v worked extremly hard and busted my butt of so why not and I derserve it. And of course you already know that I will always remain on the 'A' side in this class until I'm a Senior. Since Mr. Winfrey is one of my favorite teachers, I would give him a 'C' for tryin', nah I just playin', I would certainly give him an 'A' because he's not only a great teacher but he's challenging and he' always encouraging all of his students to do their very best in his class. To better yourself Mr Winfrey, please don't get sick because when you are you don't act like yourslef, your not the so goofy Mr. Winfrey I love and know, so try yo best not to get sick. Stay the same. My favorite book in this class was 'A Matter of Trust' because I love all Bluford series books and they have the greatest stories ever.My least favorite book was 'Nigger' because it was a little boring; it didn't fit my best intrest and it was getting a little lame, too.

If I had to give up one of my senses for the rest of my life it would be my sense of smell because i would have to smell no musty people or I wouldn't have to smell nothing that really stink like, when ig go to the zoo to9 go see the animals I wouldn't have to smell them all the way through the zoo and the farm... My First Real Fight
Many people have had their share of fights, some lots and some won. I remember my first fight like yesterday. I was in fifth grade and the girl I had a fight with was supposed to be my friend. I had recently been going to Overton Elementary; she attended the school down the street from our building. When I first got to the school, we weren’t put in the same class. After 3 months into the school year, people started coming up to me saying Kiara wanted to fight me; I didn’t understand but wasn’t about to back down from a fight. The day of the fight, I had just got out of school and was walking home with my sisters and cousin. Kiara was walking up to me with her big sister and 3 of her friends. She yelled for me to wait; when she got up to me one of her friends pushed my little sister down, I turned around to see what happened and when I turned back around she punched me in the eye. The fight was crazy and quick; all I remember was her punching me and me getting a black eye. I did scratch her face up pretty bad. I still don’t know why she wanted to fight me, I guess she was jealous because I looked tons better then her, and the boy she liked wanted to go with me. After that fight I tried to be ready for my next.

I started to get dizzy and very slugish I thought that i was moving very fast but i was really moving very slow. After awhile I began to feel very hungry so i got me a meal from the restaurant and then i wnet to the crib for some sleep.

This is how it went I was four days before my due date and it was 8:30 in the morning, and i had a contraction so i layed down to time it and i had another one at 8:35. And that one hit me harder than the first one so my little niece went and called my auntie in the room and she was like I think she is in labor. I got up to but my clothes on and grabbed my bag and we went outside. No car so I put my bag in the house and walked up and down the street until the car came. When i got to the hospital the nurse checked me and told me I was 2 centimeters and they might have to send me home. That was about 10:30 and i got in the hospital gown and about 1 hour later she came in to check me again now I was 4 centimeters. they gave me something to "speed " it up a bit. By 6:00pm I was pushing and by 6:25 i had my son Darion on the fifth of February.

When we got there i thought that we was just eating and leaving but instead my parents throw a surprize birthday party for me. Next they told me to close me eyes and turn around. When i turn around it was Ronald Mcdonald i was scared out of my mind i was ready to go. i didnt even want to stay for the party, thats how mad i was. My first day of high school, I was very scared because, I really
didnt know anybody except my bestfriend and some of the people
I went to grammar school. When I used to walk through the hallways
people they use to just stare at me and I felt really scared cause I thought
they was about to just run up and hit me. Now everybody knows me
and Iam cool with most of them and I guess that since Iam a sophomore,
I have aand know more people then I did when I first came to harper.

If I was to compare myself to some kind of animal Iwouldcompare myself to a lion because with a lion he's king ofthe jungle and he doesn't like when people disrupthis territory and when ever he goes to get hisprey he goes after it and he's not done till he's done.Now the comparison, with me I feel my territoryis what I'm king of- my feelings, my space basiclymy life. Also I hate when I'm cool ya know notmessing with people and there's always someone disrupting my area-(territory),but whenthat person come starting stuff I go out and reclaim what's mine or I do like the lion andgo get my prey and I'm not done till I'm done.

My first game
I remember when I had my first basketball game. I was 8-years-old
and I was only 4 feet tall. My coach was saying that I have things thats
inside of me. I never knew what it mean period. So when I had my first
game, I was in grammar school copernicus and we was going against maze
grammar school. So I wasnt starting five, I was like the sixth man. I was
playing point guard. So the game started. Maze got the tip-off. The game
was going good, but I wasnt thinking about the game, I was thinking about
what my coach was saying to me, "you have things thats inside of you. My
grammar school was losing and it was the 4 quarter. My coach put me on
the floor and said to me remember what I told you. When I got on the floor
some dude push me and stolen the ball. I got really mad and took good
advantage and I was scoring points left to right. I was stealing the ball,
and I was grabbing rebounds like crazy. When we won the game, my
coach asked me did you find what was inside of you? I said yes, Iam
a beast!

I smoked because I was inquisitive about it. It was me, my cousins, and about 3 more friends. We were smoking a Black and Mild. This event occurred at like around 1 Am. We were in the alley and I recommended that we should go somewhere that’s not in the open so I or we won’t get caught doing it. We went into this random backyard and I was a diminutive scared that somebody probably lived there and they might come out and get us. I enjoyed that whole moment. However, it left a bad taste and I hated it. I tried everything to the taste out of my mouth but it kept coming back. I feel like it was a waste of time but the best waste of time.

I remember my first birthday party. Well it wasn't my first birthday party but it's the only one
i remember. I was at Chucky Cheese it was my first time there. I remember being scared of
Chucky. Everytime he came by me i ran under the table. Later on that day i went into the tunnel and got lost in there.I started crying and hitting on the window and my sister came in and got me out. I had the most fun in the pool of balls and i played other games,ate pizza and everybody song happy birthday to me.

What I remember for my first is when I got my first stitches.I was six years old.I was playing around with my cousins.So I climbed on top of the wheel.I tryied to run across the top and jump off.At this point of my life I was a tom-boy.Well, everything didn't go as planned.I ran across the top and slipped.I fell down the middle of the wheel and buss my head.I had to get 14 stitches across my forehead.

I remember when the first I went to six flags for a graduation trip. My classmates and I had a ball everytime you seen us we were either cutting lines or we were already on the ride. One time it backfired on us because this white called security on us an we had to run into a huge crowd so the couldn't find us. We were making our own cd's that was the funiest part because people sounded so funny when they were getting recorded. We left six flags around ten o' clock by time we got to the school its was eleven o'clock.
