BR: Post about prom
Prom was great. I had fun, because I got the chance to converse with people that I haven't talked to in a long time. Even though I didn't want to go on prom, I can't say that I regret going. I just didn't take prom as seriously as everyone else did. Sure, I got it when some people said something like, "You deserve to go to prom, you've worked hard for it." Of course, other people said things like, "Prom is, like, the most important night of your life.", which is something I just didn't get and I still don't get.
Regardless of all of that crap, I had fun. The music was nice and the women were beautiful. I loved some of the dresses, but then there were some outfits that were over the top (too much jewelry on, too much non-needed material on the dresses, and etc.) Many people just don't get that less is more. Lots of girls didn't have too much material on their dress, but they had enough material to look sophisticated enough. Prom is a formal event, of course, and lots of people were looking nice on their "special night".
