My overall experience at Harper high school has been great. There were days when I hated waking up coming to school, but things changed over the years. I began to like the feel of the school, especially when I arrived in FACETS. The program is what kept me coming, it was fun, and we had the best trips. I also liked playing softball and volleyball, those were the best time, and even losing sometimes was fun. I enjoyed myself every year whether it was inspiration from teachers, playing sports, or the surroundings of my classmates. I know for a fact that my senior year has been the best year because it went by so fast, especially after our Mexico trip, school days were limited. It hasn’t sunk in yet that these are our last days of high school, and that we’re moving on to college. But I’m happy to move on, to go away, and not dwell on the past.

Ever since my freshman year, I’ve struggled with my grades and with my social life. Honestly, I didn’t continue my education at this school to make friends. I stayed here so that I could get my education and leave. Truth be told, I received my education, but I also got something out of this that I had never wanted. After spending time at this school, I’ve made friends. I haven’t made many, but I’ve made a satisfying amount of friends, those who I can continue to stay in contact with long after I graduate. I guess that I could call myself lucky, because I have real friends. Within Harper, I’ve found a second family, which is mostly comprised of teachers. The friends that I have made, I look at them as my brothers and sisters.

As far as my education goes, I have learned many things while at Harper. Aside from my academics, I have actually learned a couple of life lessons. In my freshman year, I did my work and got through school. In my sophomore year, I started to learn from being a student at Harper, aside from my academic learning. When I became a junior, I felt that I was at the peak of my learning experience. Now that I am a senior and am getting ready to graduate, I can honestly say that I’ve learned from life. I’ve had a pleasant four years at Harper, but I can say, without one ounce of doubt in my heart, that I am ready to move on and I am happy with and proud of all that I’ve accomplished during my time here.

My pass four years at Harper has been very good. I got along with all of my teachers and some of the students that attended Harper. I loved all of my teachers that I had here at Harper because with out them I would not be getting to walk across the stage on June 8, 2007. My experience here at Harper was very good because I was chosen to be in Facets. I said that it was good because I had fun in Facets and I also learned a lot. I loved my experience her at Harper even though I have been through some ups and downs. But it don’t matter no more because I’ve got throw it and know look I am getting ready for graduation. Even though my high school years went by so fast I got a chance to explore and get the feeling of how college is going to be but more challenging. I don’t really have anything else to say because I can’t really express my experience in so many words. But what I would like to say is thank all of my teachers for helping me to get were I am at. I really appreciate all that they have done for me and I am very grateful. So for here on I would just like to say that my four year experience here at Harper has been very good. So again thank all of my teachers for helping my get were I am at today.

My High School experience has been and blast. From my freshman year on down to my senior year. I have had nothing but good times in High School, from particpating in sports and doing things to better our school. The sports in school what has really made school more enjoyable to me. I played basketball, softball, and volleyball. These sports have really forced me to become active in school. By being on all these teams and doing well you are known by everyone. Sometimes that can be a good feeling to have but sometimes it's can be bad because everyone is watching you and people aspect you to be almost perfect. Other than people watching and spectating, my high school career has been awesome, many awards benn a bunch of places and played a lot of teams. As far as adamedmics umm I think I have excelled, It has been a blast been involved in so many activties to help better the school. My overrall experience hass been tremendous, great teachers and and experience of a lifetime to take with me.

My high school year was so awesome. I had so much fun experiencing a numerous of things. I went on so many educational trips and they really gave me a different perspective of life. From my freshman year to my senior year I was nominated to do so many things. When I was a sophomore I was in a group called the leadership Academy where we did a numerous of activities. We teamed up with students from a school called New Trier. We went on alot of trips where we had alot of fun. I also went to Washington D.C. when I was in Close Up. We stayed in Washington for about a week or so. We did debates on politics and teamed up with students from all around the world. I just got back from Mexico where we also had so much fun. We teamed up with students from Nebraska and visited alot of cities in Mexico. We climbed pyramids and had the time of our lives. My senior was awesome and now I'm ready to graduate.

Summary of High School Experience
My high school years have been wonderful. It was very educational and I have learned a lot from everything I have done. I have some wonderful teachers and I can honestly say that I have learned something from my four years of being at Harper. When I moved here from Mississippi, I really didn’t like it at all because I wasn’t used to the environment I was in. I can honestly say that I’m still not used to any of it because it’s just a lot of childish people around this environment and I am so proud that I am moving back to an environment that I am used to. My sophomore year is the year that I entered FACETS. I can honestly say that I had a wonderful sophomore year. I did my first major projects and I did very well on every last one of them. Junior year got a little more advanced because of the work and the things that the teachers expected from us. I did very well on everything and I kept my grades up. I couldn’t wait until my senior year came along because I knew sooner or later I will be graduating and that is so true. I graduate next Friday and damn it feels good to get away from all these stupid kids and to move on with my education. I will be attending Jackson State University and I am so happy that I got accepted. I went and looked at the campus and it is so beautiful!

High school is nearly over. I can't believe that four years has came and gone. I still remember the first time I walked threw the Harper doors; I was a little nerves. One of the main things I can remember is the leadership academy. That had to be the best thing I've done. I remember that when we were on that over night. Me and a couple of guys in the were going to sneak over to the girl's cabin. Just as we were going to put on our cloths, Winfrey and some other guy came in the room and out of everyone I was the only one dressed. I jumped under the covers. The guy that was with Winfrey was telling us to keep the noise down. Scared the crap out of me.

I've a couple of plays in this school. My first play I've done was about the ACT. I also wrote it. I played a drunk. The play didn't go so well because of one person. She got scared and barely said any of her lines. I didn't won't her in the play because she rarly came to practice and on the days she was there she really wouldn't do anything. I wanted to fire her right then and there but I had no one to replace her, so, I was stuck with her. The play didn't go all that bad. Everyone started laughing when I came on the stage and I started singing. I did another at court threate on 55th and Ellis and I proformed in front of some people down town and got us funding for the play. I can't really anything after that.

My high school experience was good. It was some drama and some days it was good. This year was a big change for me. I became a mother and things have gotten a little difficult. With him getting sick and me having to take many days off to take him to the doctor or taking care of him at home has been hard for me because I have missed so many days of school and that's messed up my grades alot. Other than that I have had a good school year, Imma miss all my friends and my best friends Punkin and Kenyetta. Alot of people have shown their true colors this year, who you htoght were you friends are not and seniors trying to be like other people, when they know their life is gonna change. One teacher I will be glad to get away from is my drama teacher, she really doesn't understand things and has an attitude problem and she might try to fail me but imma graduate if that's the last thing i do. I know i have to change alot of things about me when I go to college, like my attitude because when i go to college I can't go down there with that type of personality, but I'm just ready to leave and go to college and start my life without my parents and it's going to hard because I'm not going to have them to fall back on, but I'll have my baby daddy to help me with things so little will be a little better.

I would never knew that it would come so fast. But when I came in Harper I met alot of people who I enjoyed being around. But when I came to into F.A.C.E.T.S that's when everything change because I was stuck with the kids for the rest of the day. In facets we had a awsome time I enjoyed every moment we spent together. But this whole time while in harper I had alot of fun. From freshmen year to having .P.E. and now to having different classes to moving on. I know that we all enter as teens and now we are leaving as young adults. We had came to learn and now we will leave to teach what we have learn and put what we have learned and put it to the test.

I met all of my best friend mary since i knew since freshman year who is still my friend to this day. i had a lot of memories from this school like the whole facets time i was here.there was a lot of memories in facets like when i was accused of stealing a test. another memory was when we did all of the facets trips like the skating,chicago, and millenium trip. all of my classes fun except spanish because you can do the same work as everybody else and have the same answere but you still get a low grade.That was my overall experience in high school

my experience of high school was great. i did not know that high school was going to go by so fast. it is like we just got here not to long ago and now it is almost time to go into the real world now. the years went by to fast for me. i am going to miss some people in my class and some i am not. we went through alot for the past 3 years like getting into it with other people etc. some got settled and some did not. i will remember the good times and the bad times in harper.

Today is May 24,2007 and it is two more weeks until graduation day.I am so happy that school is almost out. It is very hot today and I have to stay after school to perform. We are having the spring feast today and I can't wait until OI am finish with choir.

I just want to let the girls know that I am really tired of my name popping up in Seniors mouths!! And then to top it off i am a Sophomore!! an underclassmen!! and what i cant seem to understand is that u are an upper classmen, not only that u are a young adult Now i been trying to keep my cool. I woke up this morning, thinking that I just might not come to school today, but I'm a little too determined to not come to school. I suppose that I was a little surprised at myself. I mean, I show up every single day and there are times when I do not want to come to school, but I rarely say, "I'm not going to school today." When I do say it, I'm shocked at myself, because I feel as if I am slipping and not as dedicated as I used to be.

Anyways, today's going pretty good. I came to school with a smile on my face, because I know that we're all getting ready to get done with Springfest. I've been waiting for tonight to be done and over with, because that's my major obstacle in Mr. Taylor's class.

Basically, there's only two weeks left until graduation. Right about now, I am seriously loving the number '2'. I mean, what can I say? This is the closest I've been to having the opportunity of walking across the stage, so far. I received my acceptance letter from SIUC. It turns out that alot of students from Harper were getting ready to go to SIUC, but they found out that alot of students had already applied. Those same students are now reconsidering and I'm staying at SIUC, which means that I won't have to see too many faces from this school. Me, honestly, I just think that it's time to move on and put my high school life behind me. I am ready to start in a new environment, one that I belong in. I like being around mature people and SIUC definitely has that environment.
