Where were you when you found out about the towers? Explain your thoughts 1/2 page
When I found out about the twin towers, I was at school. I didn't hear anyone go into detail, because I suppose I wasn't paying that much attention. When I got home, turned on the television set, and switched to the news, I was very lost. I was stuck, because it was a shock. I had no idea what we had gotten into and, in all honesty, I thought the world was coming to an end. 9/11 really left me standing in one spot for a second with my bottom jaw on the floor.

I'd never heard of a plane being crashed into the side of a building and going straight through it, only to explode because of the impact and leave the building in a gradual state of destruction. When I heard and saw people jumping from windows and people getting caught under debri, it was seriously a lot for me to take in. I was nervous for a very nice portion of that day. The impact of seeing people die right in front of your eyes was very great on me. I would've hated to be there, because I probably would've collapsed.
